JAMMU, May 6: Rajesh Gupta, President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad J&K Ladakh, has urged the people of Jammu and Kashmir to remain vigilant and participate in the nationwide mock drills ordered by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) in the wake of recent terrorist attacks.
Condemning the cowardly act of terrorism in Pahalgam that claimed the lives of 26 innocent Hindu tourists, Gupta said, “This attack is an attempt to break India’s unity and integrity, but we will never let it succeed.”
He emphasized the importance of mock drills in assessing the preparedness of security agencies and ensuring public safety. “People must not panic but understand that these drills are in the national interest,” he added.
Gupta reiterated that the nation stands united against terrorism. “We must show our enemies that India is not afraid. Our existence and freedom depend on the strength of our nation. Let’s stand by our forces, government, and every citizen working to protect Bharat Mata,” he asserted.
He appealed to the public to remain cautious, report suspicious activities, and strengthen the spirit of nationalism. “Together, we will defeat the evil designs of our enemies,” he said.
Gupta emphasized that no force in the world can harm a united India and that these challenging times must become a reason for greater national solidarity.
