APRIL 30: In a tragic incident, an elderly woman allegedly jumped into Jhelum river at Sonwar-Rajbagh area of Srinagar district in Jammu and Kashmir and died.
As per the reports, following the incident, the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) launched a search operation to trace the whereabouts of the woman.
It is learnt that her body was recovered later from river and shifted to hospital for medical formalities.
Meanwhile, Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated investigation in this regard.
