APRIL 16: Justice Arun Palli was administered oath on Wednesday as Chief Justice of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court.
At a ceremony held today in the Convention Centre, Justice Arun Palli was sworn in as the Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. He made and subscribed to the oath of office before the Lieutenant Governor, UT of J&K, Manoj Sinha.
He was administered oath by Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha in a ceremony attended by J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, judges of High Court and other dignitaries.
It is learnt that Justice Palli was born on September 18, 1964 and has earlier served as Executive Chairman of Haryana State Legal Service Authority. He was also nominated as a Member of the Governing Body of the National Legal Services Authority.
