APRIL 9: A fierce encounter raged between security forces and terrorists in village Jopher of Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir.
It is learnt that the area falls under the jurisdiction of Police Station Ramnagar in Udhampur district.
As per the reports, the gunfight broke out during a joint search operation launched by the J&K Police and other security forces.
In the course of this contact was established between security forces and hiding terrorists and leading to exchange of fire.
Preliminary reports suggest 2 to 3 terrorists are believed to be trapped.
