Jammu: The much-awaited Amarnath Yatra is set to commence on July 3 and will continue for 38 days, concluding on August 9.
The pre-registration process for devotees will begin on April 14, allowing pilgrims to secure their journey in advance. Registration will be conducted on a first come, first served basis and requires biometric eKYC authentication in real time.
Pilgrims planning to undertake the Amarnath Yatra 2025 must complete the registration process through designated bank branches across the country, as facilitated by the Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board (SASB).
To register, pilgrims must provide a Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC) issued by an authorized doctor or medical institution. Along with the CHC, a valid Aadhaar Card or any other government-recognised identity card is mandatory. Details regarding authorised hospitals and doctors for issuing health certificates will be available on the SASB website.
Once registered, pilgrims must collect their RFID cards from specified centers in Jammu and Kashmir before beginning their journey. Without an RFID card, entry beyond the control gates at Domel or Chandanwadi will not be permitted.
