MARCH 19: In a bid to offer reasonable concession to consumers, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that Govt will soon announce new policy for toll charges on National Highways.
Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari emphasized that the Government is spending colossal on road infrastructure which is why toll charges are important.
Gadkari added that if you want good road, you have to pay for it.
Keeping in mind that efforts of the Government are underway to build a robust road network hence raising funds from market in form of toll is genuine said Nitin Gadkari.
