MARCH 10: On Monday, Delhi Court dismissed the plea of jailed MP Baramulla Engineer Rashid seeking the custody parole for attending Parliament Session.
Additional sessions judge rejected the plea and posted the order on March 19.
Pertinent to mention, Delhi Court had reserved its order for Engineer Rashid’s plea to attend the upcoming Parliament Session until March 7.
It is learnt that the Court had asked the National Investigation Agency to respond to Er Rashid’s plea on March 3.
Jailed MP Baramulla Engineer Rashid, has defeated NC vice president and Chief Minister J&K Omar Abdullah and People’s Conference leader Sajad Lone in the 2024 Parliamentary Polls.
Pertinent to mention that, Engineer Rashid was given interim bail to campaign for Assembly Elections in Jammu and Kashmir in the month of September 2024.
Rashid is Tihar jail for the terror-funding case.
