21 FEB: With a clash of dates between Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) and Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) examination dates, students demanded the rescheduling of dates at the earliest.
The aspirants are down in dumps as both the examinations are scheduled to 23 February 2025.
J&K Students Association has informed Public Service Commission about this grave issue via mails and written representations.
With just one day left for the examination, the Government hasn’t taken any step in this regard.
MP Srinagar Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi raised voice for the aspirants and appealed to the Government that the grievances of students must be settled on war-footing basis.
On social networking site X, PDP leader Iltija Mufti posted, “Highly insensitive for the JKPSC Chairman to ask students to choose between taking either the AFCAT or JKAS exam. Unbelievable that the ruling party which rode into power by promising rationalisation of the unjust reservation policy is now refusing to even reschedule exams.”
JKPSC Chairman Arun Kumar Choudhary has said, “Dates have been scheduled, admin-cards have been given and less time is left to reschedule the dates. It is choice for students to appear for which exam they want.”
