7 FEB: Massive fire broke out in tents in Maha Kumbh on Friday. The fire tore through around 20 tents leaving a sense of panic and fear among the devotees.
It is learnt that no casualties are were reported from the incident and the reason of the blaze has not been specified yet.
Later fire tenders reached the spot to control the dousing flames. The incident took place at Sector 18, Shankaracharya Marg of Maha Kumbh.
Pertinent to mention, on 29 January 2025 deadly stampede claimed the lives of 30 people and resulted in injury of 60 in Maha Kumbh.
