Srinagar, April 14: Hot and dry weather conditions are expected to prevail across Jammu and Kashmir for the next two days, with meteorologists predicting a rise in daytime temperatures by about 4–5°C, leading to warmer conditions in several parts of the region. The ongoing dry spell may result in higher heat levels during the day, especially in plains and urban areas.
Authorities have advised farmers to continue crop spraying and other agricultural activities until April 16, taking advantage of the stable weather conditions. Meanwhile, a shift in the weather pattern is likely from April 17, when the region may experience partly to generally cloudy skies along with the possibility of light rain or isolated thundershowers at a number of places across Jammu and Kashmir.
