NOV 26: On the heels of the suspicious movement, the security forces on Wednesday conducted search operation in Kathua district.
Reports quote, a joint search operation was launched by Border Security Force (BSF) Jammu, the Border Police Post and Jammu and Kashmir Police in Khanak Nursery of Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir.
It is learnt that induction of forces has been ensured to thwart any untoward activity in the region.
The forces are meticulously scanning the habitation and adjoining areas with aim to foil the nefarious bids and ensure tranquility in the region.
The search operation is in full swing to hunt down the suspected persons.
Such joint search operations have strengthened the security grid and signify the commitment of security forces towards uprooting terrorism and other related activities. Besides, these operations have played crucial role in fostering the faith of people of region in security forces.
Earlier also, in the month of August, two suspects with black masks were seen by locals in Kathua following which the search operation was launched.
