Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir Home Department on Wednesday issued a transfer and posting order of four senior police officers, with immediate effect, following approval from the competent authority and clearance from the Election Commission of India.
As per Government Order No. 503-Home of 2025, Girdhari Lal (JKPS:2001), SSP Traffic Rural Jammu, has been transferred and posted as SSP CID SB Jammu, against an available vacancy.
Amit Bhasin (JKPS:2001), who was awaiting posting, has been appointed as SSP Traffic City Jammu, replacing Farooq Qesor Malik (JKPS:2004).
Farooq Qesor Malik, the outgoing SSP Traffic City Jammu, has been transferred and posted as SSP Traffic Rural Jammu, vice Girdhari Lal.
Meanwhile, Koushal Kumar (JKPS:2008), who was awaiting order of posting, has been transferred and appointed as Dy.CO 18 IR, against an available vacancy.
