JAMMU, JULY 26: In a heartwarming and inspiring event at the BJP headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, the Jammu and Kashmir BJP President Sat Sharma today released two remarkable books authored by young minds, “Unbroken Spirit of a Soldier” by Varahi Bajaj and “Me and My Family” by Kaamkhya Bajaj.
Despite their tender age, both Varahi and Kaamkhya have exhibited extraordinary talent and a deep sense of patriotism through their writings. Their books not only reflect creativity and maturity beyond years but also carry a strong message of national pride and family values. In a touching gesture, the young authors have also pledged to donate all proceeds and royalty earned from the sale of their books to the Kargil War Martyrs’ Fund, underlining their commitment to the cause of the nation.
The event witnessed the presence of prominent BJP leaders including J&K BJP Vice Presidents Bharat Bhushan, Priya Sethi, and Rekha Mahajan, General Secretaries Sanjita Dogra and Baldev Singh Billawaria, and MLA Yudhvir Sethi.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma congratulated the young authors for the extraordinary feast and said “It fills me with immense pride to see such young minds showing deep emotional connection with the sacrifices of our soldiers and values of family bonding. The courage and maturity reflected in their writings are commendable. These books are not just literary contributions but symbols of a promising, aware, and responsible young generation. I congratulate both Varahi and Kaamkhya and extend my best wishes for their future. Their decision to contribute the royalty to the Kargil Martyrs’ Fund is a tribute that will inspire many.”
He further added that the BJP has always believed in nurturing young talent and inculcating patriotic spirit in the youth, and today’s event is a shining example of that vision.
Other party leaders, who spoke on the occasion, appreciated and encouraged the budding authors and their families, and expressed admiration and applauded the noble gesture and their literary achievements.
