JULY 24: In Jammu, as part of the ongoing crackdown on drug trafficking, the police have intensified their action against drug peddlers.
In this series of actions, a special branch team conducted a raid at a drug den in the Phallai Mandal area in Jammu.
According to sources, during the operation, some Drug Peddlers of the Gujjar community allegedly tried to attack the police team.
In an attempt to bring the situation under control, a scuffle broke out, and a shot was fired during the confrontation, resulting in the death of a Drug Peddler from the Gujjar community.
