JUNE 18: Following the tip-off about the presence of suspected terrorists in Kishtwar, security forces on Wednesday launched a search operation in a remote forested area of the district.
A joint team of Police and Army launched the search operation in the Singhpora forest area of Chatroo in Kishtwar.
Heavy deployment of security forces was ensured to hunt down the suspected terrorists.
Besides, the area has been cordoned off and currently, no contact has been established between security forces and terrorists.
Pertinent to mention, that the three terrorists were neutralized and a soldier made the supreme sacrifice in two separate encounters in J&K in April and May this year.
