Jammu, May 30: Today on 30-05-2025, rich tributes were paid to martyr Sub inspector Diljit Singh, who attained martyrdom at Mendher Poonch in 1997.
In this regard a function was organised at Daljit Chowk R.S.Pura and the huge gathering including family members along with police remembered SI Daljit Singh, who gave the supreme sacrifice of his life in the line of duty on this day during the year 1997 with the remarks that we must never forget the Police personnel who have sacrified their lives for the nation.
Jammu & Kashmir Police is committed to always remember sacrifices of their martyrs and do everything to keep their families in comfort and likewise, every year, observed his martyr day, today i.e on 30-05-2025 at R.S.Pura, Daljeet Singh Chowk. On this occasion, Police Officers as well as huge gathering of respectable citizens paid rich tribute to the Martyr SI Daljit Singh.The family members of the martyr SI Daljit Singh were also present on the occasion.
The function was attended by SP Headquarters Jammu, Irshad Hussain Rather-JKPS & SDPO R S Pura. SHO P/S R.S.Pura and other police officers were also present on the occasion along with the family members of the martyr and other large number of respectable citizens of the society.
