MAY 28: A day after a cabinet meeting in Pahalgam to send a message to World that Kashmir is pro to peace, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah arrived in Gulmarg to chair a high-level meeting.
Abdullah chaired a meeting of his council of ministers in Pahalgam yesterday.
The aim for holding meetings was to eliminate fear and foster a sense of safety in the valley which has witnessed massive setback in tourism after the Pahalgam carnage on April 22.
Hailing the CM Omar’s initiative to chair a meeting in Gulmarg, MLA Farooq Ahmed Shah said the move sends positive message about Kashmir’s hospitality
“I am grateful to CM Omar for choosing Gulmarg for chairing a meeting. This will send a positive message across the world,” Farooq Ahmed Shah added.
