MAY 9: A Sri Lankan air force helicopter crashed on Friday during demonstration flight resulting in death of six personnel.
It is learnt that four commandoes and two air force gunners were killed in the demonstration flight of Sri Lankan air force.
A Bell 212 helicopter in Central Sri Lanka with 12 armed forces personnel on board crashed during demonstration flight.
The demonstration exercise was in connection of graduation ceremony for Special Forces commandos which was later called off.
