DLSA Srinagar observes National Voters Day

SRINAGAR, JANUARY 25: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Srinagar today observed National Voters Day at Village Legal Care & Support Centre, New Theed. On the occasion, a large number of new voters were registered.
Speaking on the occasion, Secretary (Sub-Judge) DLSA, Srinagar, Adnan Sayeed asked youth to involve themselves in voting process to strengthen democracy.
Another programme was organized at New Theed to create awareness about availability of Legal aid for acid attack and disaster victims under NLSA, SLSA and other UT and central government schemes.
Local Sarpanches, Panches, BLOs of Faqir Gujri, Dhara, Theed A and Theed B, besides a sizable number of locals participated in the programs.
