JUNE 5: J&K CM Omar Abdullah said that the Vande Bharat which is slated to be flagged off by PM Narendra Modi tomorrow will benefit everyone.
With such a prolonged wait the much-anticipated project will be flagged off by PM Modi aims to benefit all said CM Omar adding the closure of highways and the loot of air flights will stop now.
CM added that the crisis occurs when highways are closed and we have to pay Rs 20,000 instead of Rs 5,000 for a ticket.
Hailing Vande Bharat, CM Omar said that the train has already made landmark accomplishments by being part of Chenab Bridge and Anji Bridge.
Omar Abdullah flanked by MoS PMO Dr Jitendra Singh visited the tallest railway bridge in the world, the Chenab Bridge, to take stock of the preparations for the visit of PM Narendra Modi tomorrow.
In a post on X, Omar said, “Visited the tallest railway bridge in the world, the Chenab Bridge, to review arrangements for the visit of the Hon PM @narendramodi ji tomorrow.”
He added, “Tomorrow is a landmark day for J&K when, finally, the valley will be connected to the rest of the country by a railway link to be inaugurated at the hands of the Hon PM.”
