JUNE 28: The search operation to hunt down three Pak-based JeM terrorists entered its third day on Saturday in the forest areas of Udhampur district.
A joint team of security forces (J&K Police and Army) have cordoned the area and launched the search operation.
It is learnt that the induction of more troops to strengthen the cordon and track down and neutralize the terrorists has been made certain.
Pertinent to mention, a Pakistan-based JeM terrorist was killed by security forces on Thursday while three associates remain holed up in the forest areas of Basantgarh.
With cutting-edge technical weapons and drones, the search operation resumed this morning.
IGP Jammu Bhim Sen Tuti said the terrorists are within the cordon area and out of the four terrorists, one has been gunned down.
