Srinagar, Apr 11: Parts of Jammu and Kashmir may experience thundershowers accompanied by strong winds and possible hail during the late afternoon or evening hours on Saturday, officials at the Meteorological Centre Srinagar said.
An official stated that brief spells of light rain or isolated thundershowers could occur at scattered locations, mainly toward the latter part of the day. The weather activity is expected to be short-lived, with no prolonged rainfall forecast at this stage.
According to the department, weather conditions on April 12 are likely to remain largely dry across most areas, although a few places may receive light rain. Skies are expected to remain clear on April 13 and 14, providing stable weather conditions across the region. However, another spell of scattered rain and thundershowers is likely to affect parts of Jammu and Kashmir on April 16 and 17.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has advised farmers to resume and continue agricultural activities, noting that maximum temperatures are expected to rise gradually over the next five days.
