MARCH 24: A virbal spat occured between CPI (M) leader MLA Kulgam MY Tarigami and BJP MLA Balwant Singh Makotia in Legislative Assembly.
It is learnt that MY Tarigami and Balwant Singh Mankotia engaged in argument when former stood up in response to question by MLA Vijay Kumar, and said farmers in Hiranagar of Kathua are in miserable conditions.
This happened after CM Omar Abdullah gave an overview compensation to farmers process.
Soon, Mankotia thwarted Tarigami from speaking and said area falls in Jammu. Tarigami reverted in anger saying both Jammu and Kashmir belong to him.
