MAY 19: In connection with the grenade attack on Surankote Temple on November 15, 2023, the State Investigation Agency (SIA) has filed a chargesheet against two individuals.
As per the reports, the chargesheet has been filed against Abdul Aziz resident of Hari Safeda, Surankote in Poonch and Nazir Ahmed alias Naziroo a Pakistan-based terrorist who is also of Surankote.
It is learnt that the investigation discloses a wider conspiracy by the Pakistan-sponsored Hizbul Mujahideen to destabilize the J&K.
The act aimed to create wedge among the communities by polarizing and create fear among the common masses.
The filing of chargesheet reflects the unwavering commitment of SIA to dismantle terror networks.
