JAMMU, May 10: In response to the recent unprovoked shelling and drone attacks by Pakistan in Jammu, a delegation of senior BJP leaders visited the affected locations in Rehari and Shivalik Puram (Janipur) areas of Jammu, and the injured at Government Medical College Hospital, Bakshi Nagar.

Sat Sharma, President, J&K BJP, Sunil Sharma, Leader of Opposition, Jugal Kishore Sharma, MP (Lok Sabha), Sham Lal Sharma, Vice-President & MLA, Arvind Gupta, MLA, Adv. Rajesh Gupta, District President, Kushant Prajapati, Sahil Mahajan, Keshav Chopra, Sunita Gupta, Ravikant, Ravish Mengi, and others were also present on the occasion.
During the visit to the shelling-affected localities, the BJP leaders interacted with the residents whose homes and properties suffered damage due to the attacks. They assured the local population of full support from the party and government authorities. The delegation took detailed stock of the damages and emphasized the need for prompt relief and rehabilitation.

At the Government College Hospital, Bakshi Nagar, the leaders met with injured civilians and inquired about their condition. They appreciated the efforts of the medical staff and urged hospital authorities to remain fully prepared to handle any medical emergencies efficiently and with utmost professionalism.

Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma expressed deep anguish over the combative situation caused by Pakistan’s continuous aggression on borders and targeted attacks on civilian areas. He stated, “Instead of curbing terrorist activities, Pakistan has resorted to irrational and irresponsible conduct. The BJP stands firmly with the people in this hour of crisis. We are working in coordination with the administration to ensure essential supplies like dry ration, milk, and medicines reach those in need. Blood donation camps and other relief measures have already been initiated.”

Sunil Sharma reiterated the BJP’s commitment to the people and assured that the party is actively following up with the administration to expedite relief operations. He appealed to the citizens to stay united and follow government directives word for word to maintain safety and order during this challenging time.

Jugal Kishore Sharma emphasized the importance of remaining vigilant while avoiding panic. “People must adopt all protective measures and cooperate fully with security and administrative authorities,” he said. “Being prepared is important, but creating chaos helps no one.”
