JAMMU, 10 Feb: The Supreme Court (SC) on Monday summoned the Chief Secretary of J&K over negligence to act against the misleading advertisements of Ayurvedic, Siddha and Unani drugs.
It is learnt that the Apex Court slammed several states, including Delhi, Andhra Pradesh summoning their Chief Secretaries.
A bench of Justices Abhay Oka and Ujjal Bhuyan directed the Chief Secretaries to appear in the court through video-conferencing to give explanations.
SC granted time till end of this month to file responses and posted the matter on March 7.
