JUNE 26: In a gruesome incident, two children died and another was rescued following flash floods that strike Sialsui area of Kalakote tehsil in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.
As per the reports, three children in the flash floods that triggered by heavy rainfall. Sadly, two of them lost life on the spot, while one was rescued safely by locals.
It is learnt that rescued one was taken promptly to nearby medical facility by the locals, Police and SDRF team in Rajouri.
Efforts are in full swing to take stock of the situation and ensure safety of the citizens in the areas affected by the flash floods.
Additionally, the authorities have urged locals to avoid venturing near the water bodies and vulnerable spots amid the ongoing rainy spell.
