APRIL 14: In a tragic incident, an old woman died and ten others survived wounds after the vehicle they were traveling met with an accident in Ramban on Monday.
An old woman was killed and ten of her kins (seven men and three women) survived wounds after the mini-truck they were travelling skidded off the road and fell into a ditch in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The members belonged to Bakerwal nomadic community and were pulling towards Kashmir from Rajouri district. The visit was part of their bi-annual migration.
The devastating accident occurred near railway bridge in Banihal at Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
The injured were evacuated to a nearby hospital and the condition of two has been reported as critical.
