APRIL 19: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Saudi Arabia next week.
PM Modi will visit Saudi Arabia from April 22–23 at the invitation of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.
It is learnt that PM Narendra Modi has visited Saudi Arabia in 2016 and 2019 also.
Pertinently, India and Saudi Arabia share close bond with profound socio-cultural and trade connections. The bilateral relations between both have become stronger since last decade. Besides, betterment in relation in areas – political, energy, trade, technology, healthcare and education.
PM Modi’s visit is in the course of ongoing US-Iran talks over Tehran’s nuclear program. Also, important to mention, that
US President Donald Trump is expected to visit Saudi Arabia next month.
