BJP highlights pro-poor achievements in programmes held across J&K

JAMMU, JUNE 18: To commemorate 11 years of dedicated service, effective governance, and pro-poor welfare under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir, conducted Mandal-level Sankalp Sabhas, Shakti Kendra Choupals, and Ayushman Card Distribution Camps across multiple districts of the Union Territory.
A Choupal programme was held at village Aithem in Bajalta Mandal under Jammu East Assembly constituency, where BJP J&K President Sat Sharma addressed the gathering. He was accompanied by BJP Vice-President and MLA Jammu East Yudhvir Sethi, District President Jammu Adv. Rajesh Gupta, Mandal President Shiv Sharma, and several other senior leaders and party workers. The event also saw enthusiastic participation from local residents, and beneficiaries of various central schemes.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma highlighted that the last 11 years under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership have redefined governance in India. He noted that schemes like Ayushman Bharat, Ujjwala Yojana, and PM Awas Yojana have brought tangible benefits to people from all sections of society. He underlined the crucial role of flagship initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, and Vocal for Local in strengthening India’s economy and fostering self-reliance. Emphasizing BJP’s grassroots connect, he said the party remains committed to inclusive development without discrimination.
Sat Sharma hailed the ‘11 years reforms’ as transformative in social, economic, and technological spheres, ensuring direct benefit delivery without leakages. He reaffirmed BJP’s pledge to realize the vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047 through continuous public engagement.
Yudhvir Sethi, while addressing the Choupal, said, “These 11 years have redefined what it means to serve the public. The Modi government’s focus has always been on transparency, accountability, and inclusive development. Jammu & Kashmir, in particular, has witnessed an unprecedented pace of progress in infrastructure, healthcare, and social welfare.”
Adv. Rajesh Gupta stated that the BJP’s mission is not just political empowerment but also socio-economic upliftment of the needy, and the underprivileged sections of the society.
Ajay Sharma, Abdul Hussain, Mohan Lal, Sunny, Sham Singh, Abdul Mohammad, Ramesh Gupta, Bishan, and others were among the prominent present.
Meanwhile, J&K BJP General Secretary Adv. Vibodh Gupta, along with MLA Surinder Kumar Bhagat and District President Nand Kishore addressed the Chaupal organized at Shakti Kendra Kalyanpur of Mandal Marh of BJP District Jammu North.
