Bihar: Woman kills 3 daughters over fight with mother-in-law

Kushinagar, Jul 24: A woman killed her three daughters by throwing them in a pond after a fight with her mother-in-law in Kateya police station area in Bihar, police said on Saturday.
Accused Noor Jahan, resident of Laxmipur Babu village of Patherwa police station area in the Kushinagar district, was married off to Aslam, a resident of Bihar's Kaulrahi, who works in Gujarat.

On the occasion of Bakrid, Aslam had sent Rs 10,000 in his mother's bank account as his wife was at her father's house.
When Noor Jahan came to know about it, she reached her in-laws' house on Friday and started asking for money from the mother-in-law, leading to a quarrel, post which, she left the house with her three daughters Gulpasa Khatoon (11), Afreen Khatoon (9) and Taiba Khatoon (07).
She threw all the three daughters in Chandrahai pond located near Gaura village on Kateya-Samoor market road of Kateya police station area of Bihar.
Gulpasa Khatoon and Afreen Khatoon died, while Taiba was taken to Fazilnagar CHC with the help of passersby, where she also died during treatment on Saturday morning.
On getting information about the incident, the in-laws also reached there.
Kateya's station in-charge Suman Kumar Mishra said that the matter is under investigation. All three girls have died.
Noorjahan was being interrogated.
