Fuel prices remain static

New Delhi, Jun 10: The prices of petrol and diesel, which has skyrocketed in the past few days, remained unchanged on Wednesday.

According to Indian Oil Corporation, petrol and diesel prices in the national capital remained unchanged at Rs 95.56 and Rs 86.47 per liter respectively.

Petrol and diesel prices have witnessed an increase for 21 days since May 4 till now, while there was no change in prices for the remaining 17 days. In this period, petrol has become costlier by Rs 5.16 and diesel by Rs 5.74 in the national capital.

In other metro cities also, the prices of both fossil fuels remained stable.

Petrol in Mumbai stood at Rs 101.76, in Chennai at Rs 96.94 and in Kolkata at Rs 95.52 per liter while diesel was being sold at Rs 93.85 in Mumbai, Rs 89.32 in Kolkata and Rs 91.15 per liter in Chennai.

Petrol and diesel prices are reviewed daily and based on that new prices are implemented every day from 6 am.
