Jammu, September 26: Leader of Opposition in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Sunil Sharma, met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his residence in New Delhi and held discussions on several issues concerning Jammu and Kashmir.
According to news agency JKNS, the meeting covered matters related to security, law and order, development and issues linked to the ongoing Assembly session.
Following the meeting, Sharma said that the Union Home Minister reiterated the Centre’s commitment to maintaining peace and promoting development and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir.
Sharma further said that the Union Government assured all possible support and cooperation in addressing issues and concerns related to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
