JULY 1: On the 13th death anniversary of Late Amar Nath Vaishnavi Ji, a Shradhanjali programme was held at Shree Shardha Mata Temple, Bantalab, Jammu under the leadership of Moti Lal Malla who paid homage to the guiding force of the Kashmiri Pandit community.
Malla recalled Vaishnavi Ji’s tireless efforts during the 1990 migration and his role in securing reservations for displaced youth. Several speakers, including Swami Kumar, Dr. Sushil Wattal, and Rajiv Pandita Ji, described him as a visionary, compassionate soul, and symbol of resilience, urging the community to stay united and inspired by his legacy.
On the request of the committee, Dr. Arvind Karwani, Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, announced that Vaishnavi Ji’s quarter at Muthi Camp will be converted into a museum-cum-library in his memory.
The speakers were Swami Kumar Ji, Dr. Susheel Wattal, Rajiv Pandita, BJP KDD President, Prof. Virender Rawal,
Shiban Khaibri, Ashok Dhar, Desh Rattan Pandita, Heera Lal Bhat, B. K. Sanyasi. The programme was ably anchored by Sh. P.K. Raina Ji, General Secretary, ASKPC.
