Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Monday reconstituted the Board of Directors of the Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation Limited (JKTDC) as per Article 61(1) & (2) of its Articles of Association.
According to Government Order No. 764-JK(GAD) of 2025, the Chief Minister will serve as the Chairman of the Board, while the Minister In Charge of the Tourism Department has been designated as Vice Chairman.
The new board includes senior officials such as the Chief Secretary, Advisor to the CM, Additional Chief Secretary to the CM, and the Administrative Secretaries of the Finance, Tourism, Industries & Commerce, and Planning Departments. Directors of Tourism from both Jammu and Kashmir regions, along with the Managing Director of JKTDC, also form part of the reconstituted body.
The reconstitution supersedes all previous orders related to the board’s composition. The move is seen as part of the government’s broader efforts to streamline and strengthen tourism development and governance in the Union Territory.
