Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Government extended the deadline for submission of Annual Property Returns on PRS portal until 15th Feb, 2025 providing last opportunity to defaulting employees.
According to Circular No. 30-JK (GAD) of 2024, all government employees were to submit their property returns for the year 2024 between January 1 and January 31, 2025, on the PRS portal. However, many failed to meet the deadline, hence this extension.
The General Administration Department (Vigilance) has brought it to the notice of all employees that failure to submit property returns will attract punitive action under the Jammu and Kashmir Public Men and Public Servants Declaration of Assets Act.
Defaulting employees will also be considered guilty of criminal misconduct under the Prevention of Corruption Act, resulting in penalties and denial of vigilance clearance.
All Controlling Officers and Drawing & Disbursing Officers have been informed to strictly follow the revised timeline for compliance. Submission progress shall be monitored and evaluated by Administrative Departments.
The employee whose mobile number and/or email ID was blocked due to OTP issues will be required to update the mobile number and/or email ID in CPIS.
In case of any other technical glitch, such concern may be emailed to [email protected].
It is the last chance for employees to fulfill their obligation, whereby they will fail if they face severe legal and administrative threats.
