Srinagar, August 20: Employees of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly held a protest inside the Assembly complex on Thursday, opposing a General Administration Department (GAD) order concerning the deputation of Deputy Secretary Bilal Ahmad Mir.
The protesting staff raised slogans and questioned the deputation, claiming that the order does not follow the established rules and administrative procedures of the Assembly Secretariat.
The employees appealed to the authorities to reconsider the decision and review the order at the earliest.
They also said they would continue their protest and pursue their demands until the matter is reviewed by the concerned authorities.
