JAMMU, MARCH 8: International Women’s Day was celebrated with pomp and show at the media house The NEWS NOW in Jammu on Saturday.
Sunaina Sharma Mehta, Principal, Revenue Training institute cum Sub Registrar Jammu North-1; Mukta Sharma, first lady J&K Helicopter Engineer, Shilpa Chaku Handoo, Mrs India Universal 2023, Isha Sharma Mrs India Universal 2022 graced the occasion with their august presences.
The event featured a discussion on the womanhood hosted by Tarika Mahajan Assistant Editor The NEWS NOW and was followed by the different opinions of guests about the current situation of women in society, women empowerment and how much successful has been woman in smashing the stereotypes.
Besides, the event, saluting the spirit of women, concluded with cake cutting ceremony on the heels of which gifts were presented to the guests by Vineeta Manish Kalsi and Komal Vaid of The NEWS NOW.
