SEPT 22: Security forces averted a tragedy by neutralizing a suspicious object found near the banks of Dal Lake in Srinagar district of Jammu and Kashmir.
As per the officials, the suspicious object in the form of white ball was found during routine surveillance along the Dal Lake.
On the heels of detecting the suspicious object, security personnel promptly cordoned off the area so that it won’t inflict damage to the local population.
Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) carried out the controlled explosion by evading the potential threat.
J&K Police have launched a detailed investigation to ascertain the orgim the object. By averting the tragedy devoid of inflicting harm to nearby has added feather to the cap of Police.
