JAMMU, 18 Feb: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Bhim Sen Tuti took stock of the operational preparedness of SOG in Kathua, Samba and Jammu district.
IGP Jammu Zone also took the first-hand appraisal with respect to the Border Management Grid of Kathua, Samba and Jammu, BPP Sherpur, Babber Nallah, Mawa, Pangdour, Nandpur.
It is learnt that Joint Nakas of BSF and Border Police has checked infiltration routes Ujh, Basantar, Saharkhad, Tarnah Nallah, Bein Nallah, NHWs QRTs, NHWs Nakas at Londi Morh.
Besides, security review and coordination meeting was held at Police Station Billawar with Army, CRPF, SOG, SPs Billawar, SDPO Billawar, SHO Billawar.
Ring Road of Samba Jammu was checked during late night while returning from Billawar.
IGP Jammu Zone was flanked by DIG JSK Range Shiv Kumar Sharma, SSP Kathua Shobit Saxena IPS, SP Ops Jammu Kameshwar Puri and SSP Spl. OPs and Trg. Vikrant Prashar.
