APRIL 3: Police has apprehended two extortionists impersonating as Police officers in Tral of Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The duo have been identified as Bashir Ahmed Shiekh resident of Saimooh and Mohd Shafi of Dadsora who were falsely claiming as Police personnel and demanding money from innocents.
A complaint in this regard was put forward by Mohd Altaf Ganai a resident of Nageenpora Tral who said two persons are fraudulently posing as Policemen and extorting money from the general masses.
The activities of duo were noticed through the multiple complaints by victims who were forced to pay under pressure.
Both individuals are currently in custody and facing multiple charges.
