JUNE 24: Hailing the ceasefire between Iran and Israel, National Conference president Dr. Farooq Abdullah on Tuesday termed it a positive development and said it will be imperative in preventing further loss of lives.
“If there is ceasefire, I express gratitude to Almighty. Innocent lives will be saved now,” Dr Farooq Abdullah said.
NC stalwart added, “What resulted in ceasefire is the humanitarian aspect and pressure from other nations. Besides no one has surrendered.”
Moreover, Dr Farooq Abduallah expressed hope that Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra runs smooth and hassle-free
He said, “We express strong desire that yatris should return homes safely after darshans.”
