POONCH, JULY 21: Deputy Commissioner Poonch Vikas Kundal visited the residence of the child who lost his life in the tragic incident due to boulder fall at Government Primary School Kalsan (Bainch) today.

Expressing profound grief over the sad demise of 5-year-old Ehsan Ali, the Deputy Commissioner offered heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and assured them of every possible support from the district administration in this time of sorrow.

As part of immediate relief measures, the Deputy Commissioner handed over a cheque of ₹1 lakh to the family from the District Red Cross Fund.

Subsequently, the Deputy Commissioner visited the school premises, where he inspected the site of the incident and evaluated the damage caused by boulders dislodged due to recent heavy rainfall. He instructed the concerned departments to submit a comprehensive report and implement necessary safety measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
