MARCH 13: On Thursday, J&K Government apprised the Legislative Assembly that liabilities worth Rs 2504.46 crore of erstwhile state of J&K will be transferred to Ladakh.
Answering a question by MLA Jamsheed Lone, Omar Abdullah made the sensational disclosure that financial liabilities of Rs 2504.46 crore will be transferred to UT of Ladakh.
Omar Abdullah said that several recommendations pertaining to apportionment of assets and liabilities between Jammu and Kashmir & Ladakh were executed.
CM Omar also informed the House that the issue has been raised with Ladakh Union Territory and the Ministry of Home Affairs.
