MARCH 26: The Delhi High Court has allowed jailed MP Baramulla Abdul Rashid Sheikh alias Er Rashid to attend ongoing Parliament session.
A bench of Justices said Police would escort Engineer Rashid to Parliament and bring him back to jail between March 26 to April 4.
In connection to the plea of Er Rashid to attend ongoing Parliament Session, The Delhi Court grants custody parole to Er Rashid.
Rashid cannot use cellphone or landline or interact with media, the bench of Justices said.
Pertinent to mention, Rashid is facing trial under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) in terror funding case and has defeated current Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah in Lok Sabha Polls.
