MARCH 21: Tightening the noose against drug menace, Anantnag Police seized properties of two notorious drug peddlers amounting to Rs 75 lakhs under the provisions of NDPS Act.
The drug peddlers have been identified as Tariq Ahmed Lone resident of Satkipora and Gulzar Ahmed resident of Waghama.
It is learnt that Police has attached concreted plinth along with one kanal of land of Tariq Ahmed Lone and commercial shops belonging to Gulzar Ahmed.
The unwavering commitment of Police towards combatting the drug menace has added a feather to the cap of Police and has unequivocally stated that they (Police) are totally determined to curb the drug menace in society.
