MARCH 5: An avalanche hit Sonamarg in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.
The snow avalanche struck Sonamarg in Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir.
It is learnt that no casualty or damage has been reported as of now.
Pertinent to mention, avalanches mostly occur after a fresh snowfall gets amalgamated to new layer of snowpack.
