JAMMU: The Finance Department of the Jammu and Kashmir Government has authorized the release of additional funds for various departments under the Revenue Component for the fiscal year 2024-25.
This funding will cover a range of key expenditure categories, as outlined in the official order. The provisions include salaries, electricity charges, honorariums, stipends and scholarships, diet expenses, drugs and instruments, awards, wages for outsourcing, pensionary benefits, and leave encashment.
The funds will be allocated to all relevant departments, with the total provisions under the Revised Estimate (RE) for 2024-25.
The utilization of these funds will adhere to the conditions set in Government Order No. 268-F of 2024, dated August 16, 2024, and the austerity measures implemented in Government Order No. 10-F of 2025, dated January 11, 2025, ensuring strict compliance with economy guidelines.
This move is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to ensure smooth functioning across various sectors while maintaining fiscal discipline.
The release of additional funds aims to support critical services and administrative functions, helping to meet the financial requirements for the remainder of the financial year.
