Srinagar, July 16: The State Investigation Agency (SIA) on Thursday carried out a search operation in Srinagar’s Rainawari locality as part of its ongoing probe into a terror-related case.
According to official sources, the search was conducted at the residence of Asim Farooq, son of Farooq Ahmad Budoo, in the Kralyar area of Rainawari.
Officials said the operation was linked to a previously registered case involving alleged terror activities and the suspected misuse of cyberspace. The search formed part of the agency’s continuing investigation into the matter.
Authorities said the investigation is still in progress, and further legal action will be taken based on the evidence gathered.
