Srinagar, April 16: The Meteorological Department has forecast light to moderate rainfall across parts of Kashmir till April 19, with weather conditions expected to turn dry from April 20 onwards.
According to officials, a brief spell of rain is likely on April 16, while more frequent showers are expected on April 17, 18, and 19. These spells may be accompanied by thunderstorms, gusty winds, and the possibility of hailstorms in isolated areas.
The department advised residents to remain cautious during periods of inclement weather, particularly in vulnerable areas prone to strong winds or hail. Farmers have been specifically advised to suspend agricultural activities during rainfall and thunderstorm periods to prevent crop damage and ensure safety.
From April 20 onwards, weather conditions are expected to stabilize, bringing mostly dry conditions across the region.
